Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, Dean of the College of Science, participated in the celebration of Starting the program accreditation standards for colleges of science today, Tuesday, corresponding to 6/8 / 2024, which was held at the University of Baghdad and under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and in the presence of the Chairman of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Authority, Professor Dr. Salah Hadi Saleh, on behalf of His Excellency the Minister. The aim of the ceremony to launch the program accreditation standards for colleges of science is to improve the quality of education for pure science specializations by setting national accreditation standards for bachelor's degree programs to meet the needs of the labor market and improve quality programs for the aforementioned specializations and achieve the professional competence and practical skills necessary for graduates to be compatible with the labor market or complete postgraduate studies. On the sidelines of the ceremony, a special meeting was held by the Deans Committee of Colleges of Science, attended by Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi, and the meeting included interventions, visions and ideas that serve the interests of colleges of science and their pure and applied specializations.
