 As part of its tireless endeavor to develop its scientific career and strengthen its relations with various sectors, and in compliance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the presidency of Anbar University, the College of Science held, on Monday, July 2, 2024, the second part of its seventh open session, headed by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ismat. Ramzi Abdel Ghafour, in the presence of all council members

 
The session witnessed a distinguished hosting by the management of the Industrial Advisory Council, which includes a number of companies in the public and private sectors, in addition to a number of college teachers from various specialties, where ways of joint cooperation between the two parties were discussed, in a way that serves the interests of the college, the government and private sectors, and the advancement of scientific research.
The session covered meaningful discussions about the prospects for cooperation between the college and the Industrial Advisory Council, which included initiating the possibility of establishing technological and scientific incubators, which are an important basis in the field of investing scientific and research knowledge in developing the economy, eliminating unemployment, forming joint exploratory research teams in line with the needs of the labor market, and developing skills. employees to meet the requirements of the industrial sector. The Council discussed the possibility of providing practical training opportunities for students and employees in various industrial companies and institutions, to gain practical experience and enhance their applied skills. It was agreed to hold joint activities between the college and the Industrial Advisory Council, such as holding conferences, seminars and workshops, to exchange experiences and improve Scientific research and support of research projects that serve the governmental and private industrial sectors by conducting a feasibility study to establish factories for the production of renewable energy and waste recycling.
