The third part of the seventh open session of the College of Science Council was held
In its efforts to develop its scientific career and strengthen its relations with various sectors, and in compliance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Presidency of Anbar University, the College of Science held the third and final section day of its seventh open session for the academic year 2023-2024, headed by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ismat Ramzi Abdul Ghafour, and attended by all members of the Council.
The session witnessed the honoring of Assistant Professor Dr. Sattar Rajab Majeed and Lecturer Dr. Saad Taha Mutlaq for the end of their duties in managing the Departments of Chemistry and Life Sciences. The members of the Council appreciated their efforts during their tenure in the positions.
The Council congratulated Professor Dr. Muhammad Qais Al-Ani on assuming the duties of the Head of the Department of Life Sciences and Professor Dr. Hamid Hussein Ali on assuming the duties of the Head of the Department of Chemistry, wishing them success and success during their assignment.
During the session, a number of important issues of interest to the educational and research process in the college were discussed, most notably the Bologna system, improving the quality of scientific research, and supporting participation in scientific conferences. The college's future plans to enhance cooperation with other academic institutions were also discussed.
