Researchers conducted a scientific study that meets the psychological and media needs of people with special needs.

Based on the university’s directions in providing its scientific and academic services to the community, a research team from the University of Anbar, consisting of (Assist. Prof. Omar Khalaf Rashid, Assist. Prof. Raad Khashia Hafez, Lec. Dr. Salam Sabbar Malik) completed a scientific study on the use of people with disabilities for the social networking sites and their impact on developing their skill abilities. It is a scientific study that addresses a scientific problem in Iraqi society presented to the Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs in Anbar Governorate.

The study was published in the Journal of Psychological Sciences within the proceedings of the Ninth Specialized Scientific Conference (Problems and Challenges Facing Youth/Causes and Treatments), Vol.35, Issue 2, Part 2.

The Director of the Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs in Anbar Governorate, Mr. Yasser Abdul Hamid Al-Dulaimi, said that the study is realistic and addressed a real problem and was applied and achieved positive results. The study will be submitted to the higher authorities in the ministry and its affiliated bodies for the purpose of circulating it to other community and service departments to benefit from its results in Governorate institutions and corresponding departments in other Iraqi governorates.
