A Significant Achievement to a Research Team from the College of Engineering

A team from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering at the University of Anbar has been enabled to manufacture the thermal performance test device for jet impact, and the team was consisted of Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abed Ahmed, the instructor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and a graduate / Master student Saad Mutlak Hatem in the Department of Mechanical Engineering within the study that was presented as one of the requirements for obtaining a Master Degree for the student.

It's noteworthy that the jet impact is one of the best techniques to achieve the improvement of the heat transfer in particular. It's used in many engineering applications, and the most important of which is the cooling of electronic devices. This device is subject to the required specifications related to achieving the characteristics of flow and the heat transfer ( the subject of the Master's thesis ), in addition to examining the thermal performance evaluation factor in the jet collision using four test models for the surface of the impact target.
