A University Delegation Pays a Visit to Kufa University

Kufa University President, Prof. Dr. Mohsen Al Dhalimi, receives Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Najim, Anbar University President, and the accompanying delegation. The high-ranking delegation, headed by the President is consisting of Dean of the Faculty of Education for Humanities, the director of Strategic Studies Centre, the President Consultant for Public Relations, some teaching staff members, students as well as some Anbari civil activists.

Anbar University president declares that our visit is not only a matter of formal or regular prestige rather it is a true manifestation of national cohesion and an unfragmented national texture whose all Iraqi communities are interwoven together. It is to bridge the gabs, if any, in our Iraqi social fabric or scientific cooperation with Kufa University and all other Iraqi Universities and to advance new means of intensifying this cooperation and strengthen this texture. Prof. Dr. Khaled Al-Najim also asserts that our city, Al- Anbar, is an essential part of a unified Iraqi past, present and future whole and this visit is to convey our high esteem and respect for our brothers in Al-Najaf, the holy city, and all Iraqis. In his welcoming address, Prof. Dr. Al-Dhalimi confirms Prof. Dr. Khaled’s words, stressing that Iraq belongs to all of us and thus we should all nurture national cohesion, integration, peaceful coexistence and protect our land and sanctities. As a part of the great appreciation for this visit, Kufa University Shield has been presented to Anbar University president in addition to some of Kufa University publications. The day-long visit also includes the delegation attendance a public seminar organized by the CMI Finnish Foundation. The seminar is also attended by the universities of Mosul and Kufa delegations, some of Al-Najaf, the holy city, civil organizations and Al-Balaghi Foundation. Finally, the visit has concluded with an agreement of further cooperation in all academic levels and to set up joint enterprises that enhances this cooperation.
