An Academic in the University Registers 20 New of Plant Species in the NCBI

Instructor Atheer Hashim Abdulmajeed at the College of Agriculture-University of Anbar has published and registered the sequence of the nitrogenous bases for (20) new plant species in Iraq in the website of the NCBI. He obtained the serial numbers which start from pp301369 and end at pp352026. The wild plants were selected within the family under study from the regions in the central and northern parts of Iraq from the beginning of 2022 to the mid of 2023. It is noteworthy that the publication and registration of these sequences is considered a significant source and reference to researchers and postgraduate students to assist them in conducting comparisons amongst research papers and other studies.
