The University President Signs an Important Memorandum of Understanding with University of Malaya in Malaysia

Amid a prestigious official and academic presence, the President of the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Salih Al-Neda, signed today, Wednesday, May 28, a highly significant MOU with the University of Malaya, the premier university in Malaysia, which is ranked (60th) globally. The signing of this memorandum aims to enhance research, scientific, and academic cooperation between the two universities, in addition to promoting student exchange program, which falls within the framework of implementing the strategic plan of the University of Anbar to open up prospects for high-level international collaboration and move toward digital transformation, automation, and the transition to fourth and fifth-generation universities in higher education.

This cooperation also aims to achieve several shared goals, including enhancing joint scientific research, student and faculty exchanges, and the development of academic programs. In addition, it seeks to strengthen cultural and scientific relations between the two universities, as well as to organize joint conferences, workshops, and seminars. Moreover, this cooperation looks forward to training undergraduate students and engaging in joint supervision of postgraduate students, as well as conducting their examinations.

 

The signing of this memorandum comes as part of the University of Anbar’s efforts to strengthen its international partnerships and achieve its strategic goals in the fields of higher education and scientific research.
