The University of Anbar ranks first among Iraqi universities and globally ranks (146)

The (UI Green metrics) launched its version for 2022 to evaluate international universities in six axes, namely (infrastructure, energy and climate change, waste treatment, water resource management, transportation, education and scientific research). The University of Anbar ranked first among Iraqi universities and ranked (146) among international universities out of (1050) international universities competing in this classification, including (77) Iraqi universities.

For his part, the President of the University of Anbar, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Salih Al-Neda, congratulated all the university's employees on obtaining this advanced position, stressing that this result reflected the results of the university's plans to achieve the goals of sustainable development, the most important of which is the project (University of Anbar is a green oasis) in which all University academic and technical formations participated in. His Excellency urged all academics and researchers to intensify work to produce solid scientific research that is applicable in the field of sustainable development to preserve energy sources for future generations, praising the distinguished effort made by the members of the Global Rankings Unit in documenting the university's achievements in international forums and rankings.
