The 1st International Conference on Desert Studies

Under the patronage of His excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof Dr. Kadhem Abdul-Saheb and under the supervision of the President of the University of Anbar the respected Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Neda, the Center of Desert Studies in cooperation with the College of Agriculture- University of Anbar holds the 1^st International Conference on Desert Studies, 2021.

Under the logo ( The Applied Researches and Field Studies are the basic for the Sustainable Development in Desert ), for the period 17-18, November 2021 in Ramadi city- Anbar Province- Iraq.

Conference Topics:

1.Combating desertification and managing water resources in the desert areas.

2.The Ecological system and Bio-diversity in the desert areas.

3. Geology and remote sensing.

4.Modern agricultural technologies for managing desert soils.

5.Investening the desert areas in agricultural production.

The conference aims at presenting and discussing the latest scientific researches and inventions that adopt the project of sustainable agriculture which aims to the typical investment of the available natural resources in the Province and maintaining them to keep the rights of the next generations and recognize the modern mechanisms to overcome the problems and challenges that confront the agriculture sector in the Province in the future and amongst the climate changes, aggravating of the desertification phenomenon, the scaristy of water resources and food security, moreover giving opportunity for different specializations of the participants of various universities to exchange scientific and technical knowledge. It's worth noting that the approved researches in the conference will be published in the Journal Earth and Environmental Science of the IOP Publication House which is classified within Scopus containers.

The researches participating in the conference must be written in English language and will subject to the turnitin and to the authentic scientific linguistic evaluation. 

The Conference Participation Fees

1.Subscribibg fees for publishing a research are $125.

2.Attending fees of the conference proceedings with a participation certificate are ID 75.000.

Important Dates

. Receiving researches starts on 10/04/2021.

.The deadline for receiving researches will be 01/08/2021.

.The date of notification of the acceptance or rejection of the research will be after 20 days from receiving  date of the research.

.The date of holding the conference due to be 17-18 / 11/ 2021.
