The solid complexes of Pd(II)and Ni(II) complexes with((E)-4-((2 hydroxybenzylidene)amino). -1,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-one), as well as their mixed – ligand complexes with oxalic acid, malonic acid and sodium pyrophosphate as secondary ligands were synthesized. These complexes were characterized by Elemental microanalysis (C.H.N), (F.A.A), IR and (UV–Vis) spectroscopy, Mass Spectroscopy along with conductivity, thermal gravimetric analysis and Melting point measurements. The expected molecular formulas of prepared complexes are:

1-[Pd(C18H17N3O2)Cl2],                            2-[Pd(C18H17N3O2)(ma)],

3- [Pd(C18H17N3O2)(OX)],                        4-[Pd(C18H17N3O2)(Pyph)],

5-[Ni(C18H17N3O2)Cl2] ,                           6-[ Ni(C18H17N3O2)(ma)],

7-[Ni(C18H17N3O2)(OX)],                          8-[ Ni(C18H17N3O2)(Pyph)]

The conducted measurements of the complexes in DMF show that all complexes are non-electrolytes . The (IR) spectra of the ligands and their complexes showed that the ligand behaves bidentate in coordination with Pd(II) and Ni (II), On the basis of elemental microanalysis, and conductivity measurements ,[IR,UV–Vis spectroscopies] . It can be we suggested a Square planner for Pd(II) and Ni (II) complexes.

rapid, simple, sensitive and validated spectrophotometric method have been described for the determination of Pd(II) and Ni (II) by ((E)-4-((2 hydroxybenzylidene)amino). -1,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-1,2-dihydro-3H-pyrazol-3-one) As a reagent. The complexes product was quantitatively measured at 380 nm and 429 nm, and the reaction conditions were studied and optimized.

The linearity of the palladium complex  is indicated by the high correlation coefficient (r 2 =0.995). The method is sensitive as indicated from the low values of LOD (0.108 μg/ ml), LOQ (0.362 μg/ml) and sandell,s sensitivity (0.007 μg/cm2). The proposed method showed high accuracy as indicated by the percentage recovery (97.41-100.46%) and %Er (0.46-1.32 %) values. The precision of the method was found to be also, high as indicated by the very small values of the RSD% (0.29-0.54%) indicating reasonable repeatability and reproducibility of the proposed method.

The linearity of nickel complex  is indicated from the high correlation coefficient (r 2 =0.996).The method is sensitive as indicated by the low values of LOD (0.087μg/ml), LOQ (0.355μg/ml) and sandell,s sensitivity (0.002 μg/cm2 ).The proposed method showed high accuracy as indicated by the percentage recovery(90.5-100.1%) and %Er(-9.42-0.125%) values. The precision of the method was found to be also, high as indicated from the very small values of the RSD% 0.13-0.91 %) which indicating reasonable repeatability and reproducibility of the proposed method.
