Final of the five-a-side football tournament
On Thursday, May 9, 2024, the College of Science Futsal Championship, which was held with the participation of all scientific departments in the college, was concluded.
The final match was held in a closed hall, in cooperation with the Student Activities Department, between the teams of the Biology Department and the Physics Department.
The match ended with the Physics Department team winning by 6 goals to 5.
Prizes were distributed to the winning teams, where the Physics Department team received the championship cup and gold medals, while theBiology Department team received silver medals.
The best player in the tournament, student Laith Thamer from the Biology Department, the best scorer in the tournament, student Muhammad Thaer from the Physics Department, and the best goalkeeper in the tournament, student Ali Ahmed from the Physics Department, were also honored.
