Vice-President for Scientific Affairs Meets Representatives of Students in Colleges’ Councils

 

Prof. Muthanna Muhammad Awad, the university vice-president for Scientific Affairs, and the secretary of university council, Prof. Dr. Yasser Ihsan Rashid, hold talks with representatives of students in colleges’ councils in Wednesday, 12th of January 2022.

At the beginning of the meeting, the vice-president welcomed the representatives, explaining the importance of their role in serving the university and its students. In addition, he described their effective contribution to the progress of the educational process, as the linkage between the students and the leaders of the university and its faculties. The vice-president stressed the abidance of the university president and the members of the university council to choose the representatives of students in the college councils and the university council, and activating their role through attending the sessions of the councils to know the students’ requests and suggestions, thereby achieving the optimal interaction between university students and leaders.

For their part, the representatives expressed their thanks and appreciation to the vice-president for scientific affairs for this meeting and listening to the students’ requests and suggestions. Besides, the vice-president valued the suggestions presented by the representatives and promised to consider and activating them.

At the end of the meeting, the university vice-president for scientific affairs expressed his appreciation to the representatives for their attendance, serious discussions and deep notions which reflect the positive bright image of the university students and their deep awareness.
