The workshop featured lectures delivered by Professor Dr. Abdul Basit Jasim Mohammed, Assistant President of the University for Administrative Affairs, and Professor Dr. Omar Abdulrahman Dawood. During their lectures, they reviewed modern trends in legal jurisprudence, digital economy, smart contracts, national digital identity, and biometric signatures, in addition to the approved types of electronic signatures and the challenges and standards related to the validity of electronic signatures.
During his attendance, the President of the University emphasized the importance of such workshops in raising legal and technical awareness among university staff and supporting the university’s direction toward automation and digital transformation, which contributes to improving institutional performance and developing the services provided.
