Publication of scientific research within the Clarivate and Scopus databases ((Q2))

With the advent of the first day of 2024, Dr. Saad Jabbar Hufi, a researcher in the Department of Natural Resources Development - Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre / University of Anbar, published a scientific research in the journal ((Data in Brief)), which is one of the scientific periodicals indexed within the Clarivate and Scopus databases ((Q2)) as a senior researcher in partnership with a number of researchers in universities from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Britain, in addition to a researcher from the College of Computer and Information Technology at the University of Anbar tagged:  ((Image dataset of healthy and infected fig leaves with Ficus leaf worm)).

The research provides large-scale data for high-resolution imagery from several sites in Iraq of healthy fig leaves infected with fig leaf worm during the fruiting season using the latest high-resolution equipment, as this worm constitutes a pest that threatens fruit tree production.

By treating data in a deep learning manner that ensures a harmony of balance and diversity of data from fig trees, the research provides data that has the potential to be a valuable resource for the pest control industry in agriculture, production and food.
