Rationalizing Water Consumption in Anbar Province


As part of the scientific activities provided by the researchers of the Upper Euphrates Basin Developing Centre at the University of Anbar, Assistant Lecturer Sulaf Taha Dawood, one of the Centre's researchers, presented a scientific lecture on rationalizing water consumption in the scientific workshop held by the Department of Geography at the College of Literature / University of Anbar, which was entitled: (Rationalizing Water Consumption in Anbar Governorate). Wednesday, 29/11/2023.

The workshop included several themes as follows:

1-    The first theme entitled: (The Role of Educational and Educational Institutions in Rationalizing Water Consumption) was presented by: (Prof. Dr. Kamal Saleh Gazgoz) and (Assistant Teacher Marah Thaer Juma).

2-    The second theme entitled: (Addressing the problem of water scarcity) presented by: (Prof. Dr. Qasim Ahmed Raml) and (Assistant Lecturer Sulaf Taha Dawood).

3-    The third theme entitled: (Modern irrigation methods and their role in rationing the amount of water) was presented by: (Prof. Dr. Taha Ahmed Abd) and (Assistant Professor Dr. Amna Jabbar Matar). 

4-    The fourth theme entitled: (Rationalizing Water Consumption from a Religious Perspective) presented by (Assistant Professor Dr. Hameed Ragab Abdel Hakeem).

At the end of the workshop, the respected Dean of the College of Literature praised the researchers and their valuable lectures because of their importance in spreading awareness among members of society in order to rationalize the consumption of water, which represents the most important artery in the sustainability of life, calling for more progress in the field of knowledge, asking Allah Almighty for success and payment for all.
