Anbar University President Chairs a Meeting

 Anbar University president, Prof. Dr. Khalid Battal Al-Najim, chaired an extended meeting with the university headquarters-based central committee of scientific promotions and the sub committees in the colleges of the university. The meeting was attended by the scientific vice-president, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Neda.

Prof. Dr. Rasmi Muhammad Hamd, head of the central committee of scientific promotions, opened the meeting with a detailed presentation on the procedures of applying to scientific promotions and the authentic academic journals approved for promotions.

Prof. Al-Najim, in turn, expressed his thanks and gratitude to the promotions committees and stressed the need to exert all efforts and be careful when processing the applications for promotions.

In her turn, Assist. Prof. Zeina Al-Sabti, director of quality assurance department, made a presentation on the ethics of scientific research. Discussions were carried on the promotions researches and particularly the controversial academic journals issued by unauthentic or shady publishers and the approval of the research papers presented in the application for professorship.

At the end a discussion was opened up for questions and queries by the heads of scientific promotions sub committees.
