The University President visits Itqan and ASPETAR Centers in Qatar

Professor Dr. Mushtaq Talib Saleh Al-Neda, the University President, visited the Itqan Center for developing clinical skills and creativity which is one of the largest medical simulation centers in the world. The center covers an area of 12 thousand square meters, (34) specialized training sites, (31) educational technology training laboratories, Virtual and advanced halls for teaching and OSKE exams.

Mr. Amr Mohamed Al-Sayed Metwally, Assistant Executive Director at Itqan Center for developing clinical skills and creativity, gave a detailed explanation of the center’s working mechanism and its provision of medical services to the students of the Faculty of Medicine and its graduates from doctors and other faculties in the medical group and the provision of community services. The possibility of benefiting from the above center in transferring medical techniques, medical simulation skills, and training to the colleges of the medical group at Anbar University.

 The University president also visited Aspire Zone Foundation/ASPETAR Sports Medicine Center and met with Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Kawari, the CEO of ASPETAR Center, who gave a full details about the facilities and installations of the Centre, which is considered one of the largest centers for rehabilitation and sports medicine. Mr. Abdul Aziz also mentioned the mechanism for benefiting from the Center’s capabilities in scientific and research exchange with medical colleges and physical education and sports sciences at Anbar University.
