A Number of the University of Anbar Instructors got Patent

A number of the University of Anbar – Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mish'al Mohammed from the College of Sciences , Asst. Prof. Dr. Younis Hendy Mohammed from the College of Pharmacy and Asst. Prof. Dr. Khalid Farouq Abdulghafour got a patent entitled "Designing a New System for Preparing Nano Compounds by Using the Green Method", where this system was used in preparing Gold and Platinum Nanoparticles by using different three types of the extracts which are Eucalyptus leaves, Sidr leaves and Cordia myxa leaves, and then the resulted nano material by synergy with close infra-red laser beams (NIR) was used in the thermal treatment for breast cancer and brilliant results have been obtained to eliminate the cancer cells with a cytotoxicity which amounted ( %73) at the concentration of 25 ppm and a beaming time 120 seconds as for Nano Gold prepared from an extract of Eucalyptus leaves with cytotoxicity amounted ( %88 g 74) at the concentration of 40 ppm and a beaming time 120 seconds as for Nano Gold prepared from an extract of Cordia myxa and Sidr respectively  at the concentration 40 ppm and a beaming time 120 seconds for Nano Platinum prepared from an extract of the leaves of Cordia myxa and Sidr respectively.
