University of Anbar achieves advanced Asian rank in the famous British Times classification

The University of Anbar has made great progress in the British Times Ranking of Asian Universities to occupy an advanced position that distinguished it over prestigious universities in the countries of the continent of Asia.
The British Times Ranking of Asian Universities for the year 2023 announced its results, which included six hundred and sixty-nine universities. The results of the ranking showed that eight Iraqi universities obtained competitive positions in this edition, as it indicated an increase in the number of Iraqi universities that booked their positions in the Times Asian classification to 8 universities after it was 4 in the last version 2022.
It is noticed that the universities that appeared in the current version are the University of Babylon in the center (199), the University of Technology in the rank (251-300), the University of Anbar in the rank (301-350), the University of Baghdad, Mosul and Al-Mustansiriya won the rank (501-600), while the universities of Basra and Kufa won the rank (+601).
It is worth noting that the Times Asian University Ranking evaluates institutions according to thirteen indicators distributed over five main criteria: education, scientific research, citation, international outlook and knowledge transfer.
