Joint Virtual Scientific Symposium


On the occasion of World Water Day, which every on March 22nd each year, two researchers Dr. Muneer Naji Ahmed and Dr. Emad Telfah Abdel Ghani from the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Center participated in a joint virtual scientific symposium with the college of Agriculture and the Center for Continuing learning at Tikrit University on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at 9:00 p.m.

The virtual symposium was chaired by Prof. Dr. Abdul Wahab Abdul Razzaq al-Qaisi from the College of Agriculture, Tikrit University, who gave an important lecture on "Water Valuation", followed by a lecture by the Inst. Dr. Muneer Naji Ahmed on (the role of hemic acid in mitigating saline water damage in some soil properties and in the growth and yield of the plant), and the last lecture of Inst. Dr. Emad Telfah Abdel Ghani entitled " Water Harvesting - its importance and modern technologies". At the end of the symposium, the discussion is opened and then it is ended thereafter.
