Biography

Khalid Shaker obtained his BSc in Computer Science from Technology University, Iraq and his MSc specializing in Computer Science from University of Anbar, Iraq. He did his PhD in Computer Science at University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), Malaysia. Khalid joined University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) on February 2011 as a Post-Doctorate Fellow. He joined the top university of Malaysia which is University of Malaya (UM) on February 2012 as a lecturer at Software Engineering Department of Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology. He was an Assistant Professor at College of Information Technology at Ahlia University in the Kingdom of Bahrain till 2014. Currently, he is an associate professor at College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Anbar University, Iraq. His research interest falls under Artificial Intelligence with and Operation Research, particularly in Meta-Heuristic Algorithms in Optimization and Multimedia Data Mining area that involves different real world applications and optimization problems, such as timetabling and multimedia data mining tasks
