A training workshop by the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences

Tue. 6 March , 2018  under slogan of ( Peace Spread is our Way to development)  and under the auspices  of the president of Anbar university  Prof. Dr. Khalid Batal Al- Najm and the supervision of the dean of the Faculty  of Law and Political Sciences  Assist. Prof. Dr. Mufeed Nayif Torky  , the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences in cooperation with UNDP and Al-Amal Iraqi Society held its training workshop named (Conflicting Analyzing and Spreading Peace Mechanism   ) at the faculty hall for two days .

          The workshop was initiated by playing the Iraqi national Anthem followed by the university president ' opening speech in which he assured that peace and settlement cannot be achieved unless spreading the societal  peace and there is an involving cooperation among  university, Al-Amal Society and UNDP Org. This cooperation has a great role to overtake all difficulties .At the same time ,he appreciated   those who are responsible of carrying out this workshop and the guests  who endured travelling difficulties .

The workshop included UNDP speech and Al-Amal Society presented by Mr. Jamal Al-Jawahiri .Then , Dr. Mohammed Khalid , asst. dean for Student's Affair introduced a presentation of the basic concepts concerning peace and the importance of conflict controlling in Anbar governorate .After that the president of the university a photo show by the student Mohammed Odah -Dept. of Law in which he embodied peace concepts and peaceful  cohabitation in Iraq .

As a complementary part , the workshop continued with four aspects within two days .The First included two aspects : analyzing the conflicts and stating its types  by Dr. Abduazee Iliwi in which he presented an explanation about the latent conflict that should be diagnosed to fix them .Whereas the second included the peaceful means for fixing conflicts presented by asst. instructor Mohammed Hammad Abid , he pointed out to make use of skillful negotiators  to control them .The second day included two aspects of which the first to be presented by Asst. prof. Dr. Mohammed Khalid Bira'a about the legal dimensions of the concepts of conflicts and spresding peace mechanism which comprised many basics : stating the most important obstacles  and the legal reasons that could lead to reject the concept of societal conflict and elucidating the concept of justice and enrooting forbearance and reconciliation .On the other hand , asst. instructor Worood Khalid Mohammed  discussed spreading and the challenges of implementation concerning the second aspect which also included the obstacles come in cross line with peace process of which the most important is the political disagreement of the political parties and the weakened authority , law and clans' clashes  in addition to the huge amounts of money needed for reconstruction within the budget deficit .

It worth mentioning that the administrative assistant , a number of deans , security chiefs , members of governorate council , religion scholars , tribal figures and a group of the teaching staff of the university attended this workshop .
