establishing links for academic and scientific collaboration with the University of Geneva in Switzerland

Through our Centre for Strategic Studies, Anbar University has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Geneva Centre for Security Policies in order to fulfil our vision and plan of supporting research institutes and promoting their openness globally. By working together, we hope to develop each other's research and analytical skills and build a robust network of scholars who are interested in similar subjects. The delegation, led by professor Dr. Mushtak Talib Saleh, president of Anbar University, signed this pact, which affirms the university's dedication to advancing its mission of development and progress as well as to worldwide scientific cooperation. Dr. Tariq Hamid al-Fahdawi, the chairman of the Department of Security and Community Studies at the Centre for Strategic Studies, and assistant professor Dr. Dared Moayed Abdul, the director of Anbar University's Department of Missions and Cultural Relations, were also part of the group. Ms. Christina Orzig, for her part, emphasized how eager the Geneva Centre for Security Policy is to collaborate productively with the Centre for Strategic Studies and Anbar University in general in order to make a significant contribution to the fields of international crisis analysis and scientific research. In the context of this collaboration, a dialogue seminar on cross-border crises between the two centres was conducted at the Geneva Centre for Security Policy. Many diplomatic missions, international organizations, and Anbar University researchers attended.
