University uniform decisions at Anbar University for the academic year (2024/2025)
First: Obligating university students to wear the university uniform appropriate for the university campus and the university student as follows:
A. Prohibiting the wearing of tight and short clothes, observing modesty, public taste, societal norms and university customs in the uniform, prohibiting the wearing of accessories for both sexes, prohibiting the wearing of garish makeup and observing the privacy of Anbar Governorate
B. The uniform of male students and its colors shall be as follows:
- Shirt: white, sky blue, black, gray, and gray.
- Jacket: indigo, black, gray, dark walnut.
- Pants: indigo, black, gray
C. The uniform of female students and its colors shall be as follows:
- Shirt and skirt, provided that the colors of the shirt are white, sky blue, black, and gray). And the colors of the skirt: indigo, black, gray
- Jacket: indigo, black, gray, dark walnut.
- The gown: indigo, black, gray, dark walnut.
- Head covering (shawl or tie) white, black, and gray
- Dresses are not allowed
- Pants are not allowed for female students, and loose, modest (kilts) are allowed
D. No writing or engravings are allowed on the student uniform for both genders.
C. Color mixing is prohibited, meaning that the colors are (solid).
H. The head covering is the shawl or tie exclusively.
G. Students are prohibited from wearing jeans (males and females).
D. Authorizing the deans of the colleges to deal with and follow up on uniform cases.
Second: Student uniform in final exams (and the mid-term exam in the College of Pharmacy): All students are required to adhere to the uniform as follows:
A. Male student uniform
- White shirt, black or gray pants
B. Female student uniform
- White shirt.
- Black or gray skirt.
- Gray, black, indigo or dark walnut gown.
- White head covering (shawl or tie).
Third: The above decision applies to undergraduate and graduate students.
Fourth: Include a paragraph in the pledge signed by first-year students regarding the student's pledge to adhere to the university uniform decided by the university, and this shall be in coordination between the Legal Affairs Department and the Student Affairs and Registration Department.
Fifth: Obligating instructors not to allow students who violate the uniform to enter classrooms except with written approval from the department head.
Sixth: Changing the uniform inside the university campus is prohibited for all students (males and females), and violating students shall be held accountable with disciplinary penalties if this act is proven by any male or female student.
Seventh: The Media and Government Communication Department in the University Presidency and the Media Divisions in the colleges are charged with raising awareness of the university dress appropriate for the university campus, the university student, and the authentic customs of our society, through the university and college websites and publishing posters and electronic screens in the college corridors, courtyards, and student clubs.
