A Symposium on Youth Immunization against Misguided Thoughts

Tuesday 15/5/2018, UOA College of Islamic Sciences organized jointly a debate symposium with the Center of Strategic Studies. The symposium, which was attended by president of UOA Prof. Dr. Khalid Battal Al-Najem, UOA administrative vice-president Prof. Dr. Aaref Saleh Mukhlef, and a number of the deans of colleges, came in the context of the necessary concerns with immunization of students against deconstractive thoughts and guiding them to the right path since the student is the good essence and green seed that reflects the outcome of knowledge acquisition and the direction of future. Students are the gear of the country and its real wealth.

The symposium comprised several tracks presented by the professors of UOA on the religious, education, and strategic aspects of the intellectual immunization of students.

the symposium aims at boosting the intellectual security via education as a step to counter the stream od deconstructive and divergent thoughts. It seeks to deeply root moderation and to rise to a strategy that counter the aspects of extremism and fanaticism  which defame Islam and its values in order to establish a mentality that saves the coherence of society and its stability in the light of a unified value framework.
