An Academic at the University of Anbar Honored for Winning the Book Award

During the Science Day celebration hosted by the University of Baghdad, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research has honored Prof. Dr. Saif Al-Din Abdul Razzaq Salem from the Center for Desert Studies at the University of Anbar with the Distinguished Written or Translated Book Award, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Muthana Muhammad A’wad, Vice President of the University for Scientific Affairs.

The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, stated in his speech during the honoring ceremony that the successes achieved by the educational institution hold everyone the responsibility for continuous development to improve quality indicators and enhance scientific research environments that make universities and academic institutions sustainable service centers that meet all the needs of society and all the requirements of the national labor market.

For his part, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Saleh Al-Nida, President of the University of Anbar, congratulated the winner, Prof. Dr. Saif Al-Din, on the Science Day Occasion, extending his thanks and appreciation for his distinguished efforts in excellently representing the University, hoping to exert more efforts and progress in service of the scientific move in our University and our dear country.
