Department of Geography at College of Education for Humanities Holds a Scientific Symposium

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jamal Hashim Ahmed, dean of the college of Education for humanities, and as part of the scientific calender of the 2nd course of the academic year 2017/2018, the department of geography held a applied workshop on "Importance & Application of Modern Geographical Technologies in Geographic Research". The workshop was held on Al-Jahed Hall on Monday, 18/4/2018. The tracks of the workshop are as follows:
1st Track: Application of ARc-GIS10.3 in computing morpho-metric data for hydro-geological basins- Prof. Dr. Khalid Akbar Abdullah
2nd Track: Application of Global Mapper 13 in the study of Earth topography- Assist. Prof. Ahmed Fleih Fayadh
3rd Track: Application of GIS10.3 and auto-sampling- Assist. Prof. Dr. Ali Khalil Khalef
4th Track: Application of Serfar in the study of topography- Dr. Khalid Sabbar Mohammad
5th Track: Applications of RS in computing linear compounds- Assist. Lecturer Zuhair Jaber Mushref
6th Track: Applications of ARc-GIS10.3 in the study of land slopes-Assist. Lecturer Ameer Mohammad Khalef
