Workshop about Planting Medical Plant Species

 Today Sunday 1 April , 2018 , with the attendance of  Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nidathe the scientific assistant of the university president and supervised by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Oweid Al-Obeidi ; the dean of the College of Agriculture  , Dept. of Field Crops held a workshop entitled (Future Horizons for Diagnosing and Planting the Medical Plant Species  ) at the Conferences Hall of the college .
          The workshop was ,at first  ,started by reciting some verses of Holy Quran followed by the speech by the dean in which he welcomed the attendants and at the same time appreciated those in charge of this workshop which included many subjects the first of  which was entitled Classification and Medical Plant Geographical Spread presented by Prof. Dr. Mohammed Othoman of Desert Studies Center as the second subject was the Role of Biological Techniques in the Medical plants by the assist. instructor Faiz Tahseen Fadhil of the College of Agriculture .The third part was entitled Planting & Administrating Medical Plant Species and was presented by Assist Prof. Dr. Ali Fada'am Abdullah of Desert Studies Center . The Active Compounds of the Medical Plant Species was the fourth subject presented by Assist Prof. Dr. Wajeeh Yunis of the College of Sciences .  The workshop was attended by many of the teaching staff , researchers interested in this area and a group of students
