Out of its contribution to activate the spirit of intellectual contest among students and urging them to delve through the different fields of knowledge and culture , a number of the University of Anbar 's students took part in the 1st Knowledge Rendezvous held in Karbala out of a total of 31 Iraqi universities .
Heads of the students' delegations convened through a meeting to get acquainted with the time and schedule of the contest in addition to get ready to the preliminary contest in coordination with the Students Activities Section of Karbala University .
The students of Anbar university had a pioneering role in this knowledge rendezvous and a fruitful participation at the cultural , artistic and scientific levels .
In this respect prof. Dr. Muaath Al-Hiti; director of Students Activities Section of Anbar university ; described this practice as a humane cultural trip that moves students to integration , knowledge and moral field in addition to its creating enthusiastic cooperative base among the young in general through boosting their talents and capabilities and raising the spirit of intimacy to homeland , social ties and religion .
