Under the patronage of Anbar University president Prof. Dr. Khaled Battal al-Najem and the direct supervision of the dean of the college of Engineering Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Ahmed Sarhan a workshop, titled "Development & Engineering Education," was conducted by visiting professors from Liverpool university-John Morris on the hall of the college-electrical engineering department at 10 a.m. , Monday, 5/3/2018. The workshop was attended by the administrative and scientific vice-presidents of Anbar university, colleges deans, the heads of academic departments, and a gathering of professors and students. Two lectures were delivered during the workshop. The first lecture, titled "artificial intelligence for Multidisciplinary applications," was delivered by Prof. Dr. Dhia Al-Jumaily, director of IEEE for the development of electronic systems engineering-Liverpool University-John Morris. The second lecture, entitled "water the essence of Life," by Prof. Dr. Ra'fet Al-Khadar, head of Civil Engineering department  and the professor of water and environment engineering at Liverpool University-John Morris. The attendants made many oral interventions and detailed discussions during the workshop.
