Maadh Aldouri

MBChB, FRCPath, FRCP (UK) Clinical Director of International Activities, The Royal College of Pathologists

Dr Aldouri is the Clinical Director for Cancer, Diagnostics & Clinical Support Services, at Medway Foundation Trust, and Clinical Director of North Kent Pathology Services. He also works as a Consultant Haematologist at King’s College Hospital, London. He is a graduate of the College of Medicine of Baghdad University, Iraq, and has worked in the Middle East for over ten years. He is Fellow of The Royal College of Pathologists and Royal College of Physicians. He was Chair of the Haematology Speciality Group of Kent and Medway Cancer Network 2001-2017, member of South Thames Region of the RCPath Council 2001-2003 and Chair of the Pathology Committee of the Inter-Collegiate Iraq Liaison Group. He became the RCPath International Advisor for the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region in 2013. He was appointed as the College’s Clinical Director of International Activities in January 2015.

Tawfik A. M. Khoja

Professor Khoja was the Director General, Executive Board, Health Ministers’ Council for the Cooperation Council States for more than 16 years, Family and Community Medicine Consultant, in addition to other job responsibilities including overall development and implementation of PHC, family medicine, public health and development and advancement of health programs and improvement of TQ concepts and patient safety, conduction and coordination of field studies and research in PHC. He held in the MOH Director General of Health Centers, Ministry of Health, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and appointment as the Director General of the Executive Board, HMC/GCC. Professor Khoja is the General Secretary of the Arab Hospital Federation, as well as Deputy Chairperson of Arab Union Anti -Forgery and Counterfeit.

Aussama K. Nassar

Dr. Nassar is a true clinician-educator with an MSc degree in Health Sciences Education from McMaster University, one of the prestigious institutions in medical education. Faraj Howady

Dr Faraj Howady was graduated from Baghdad University, Faculty of medicine and completed his training in internal medicine Arab Board Program in 1990. He was a Faculty Member in College of Medicine, University of Anbar from 1993-1997. He had joined Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha-Qatar in the Department of Medicine, Infectious Diseases Section since 1997. He has 23 years experience in Adult Infectious Disease with main interest in management of Tuberculosis, Leprosy and General Infectious Diseases.

Peter Forster

Director of Research, Institute for Forensic Genetics, Germany

BSc (Chemistry), PhD in Biology

Peter Forster's research concerns the molecular population genetics of humans. Born in 1967, he studied chemistry at the universities of Kiel and Hamburg, specialised in genetics at the Heinrich-Pette-Institute of Virology and Immunology in Hamburg and received his PhD in Biology in 1997. After postdoctoral research at the Institute of Legal Medicine in Muenster until 1999, he was appointed Research Fellow at the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research in Cambridge until 2006. In the same period, he became a Founding Member of the interdisciplinary Junge Akademie in Berlin. From 2006-2009 he was a university senior lecturer in forensics and life sciences.
Peter Forster is currently Director of Research at the Institute for Forensic Genetics in Muenster (Germany), Fellow of the McDonald Institute for Archaeological Research at the University of Cambridge, and an editor of the International Journal of Legal Medicine (Springer, Heidelberg).

Dr Omrani is a Senior Consultant Adult Infectious Diseases, Hamad Medical Corporation, Doha. He completed his specialist training in adult infectious diseases and medical microbiology at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, followed by consultant positions in the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia, before moving on to Qatar in July 2018. Dr Omrani’s clinical and research interests focus on the management of infections caused by extensively resistant pathogens, infections in immune compromised hosts and infections in critically ill patients.

Abdulsalam Al-Ani

Dr Abdulsalam Al-Ani is a consultant Haematopathologist and worked as a head of the Pathology Department and the Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Anbar. Graduated from Mosul College of Medicine 1990, awarded specialty in haematology 1999 and Assistant professor of haematology, 2003. He is a member of Iraqi Society of Haematology (ISOH), British Society for Haematology (BSH), the Royal College of Pathologists (RCPath), Pan Arab Hematology Association, the European Society of Cardiology (ECS), and International Academy for Clinical Hematology (IACH).




Aamr F Al-Ubaidi

Aamr F Al-Ubaidi is an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, College of Medicine, University ff Anbar, Iraq. He received his MBChB degree in 1985/ Mosul University. In 1994 he received his fellowship degree in general surgery (FIBMS)/ Iraq. He works as a general surgeon and consultant in Al-Ramadi Teaching Hospital and Fallujah General Hospital. The main fields of clinical expertise and scientific interests are thyroid and trauma surgery. He is an executive manager of Al-Anbar Medical Journal since March 2019.
