Based on the plans of the Upper Euphrates Basin Development Centre and its vision for achieving the goals of sustainable development, and the directives of the University of Anbar, within its strategic plans to expand the use of renewable and clean energies, and in continuation of providing important databases for researchers and graduate students, the Planning and Databases Department at the Centre, in cooperation with the Renewable Energy Research Centre at the University of Anbar, issued data on renewable energy available according to the measurements and data available from the centre’s weather station within the university site in the city of Ramadi.  The data included the amount of solar and wind energy generated with illustrations according to the data of the centre’s station of radiation and solar energy, in addition to the wind speed during the month of May.
