Aim of the work

1_ in this work we try to improve the Electromyography signal by deposition thin films of different metals on EMG electrodes with different thicknesses and Investigate the effect of sample thickness on structural, surface morphology, and electrical properties for the deposited thin films and its effect on the EMG signal.

2_ Design and implement of real time measurement of Electromyography signal and examine their Signal performance.

3_ Programming a GUI mode used to identify the charcterized and identify the EMG signals based traditional electrode and nanoelectrode.

 

Results

1_ A new method for improving the EMG signal using nanofilms of three different metals where achieved, which can be used in place of the conventional method by gel wetted electrodes.

2_ The deposited  films have good crystallinity. the crystalline size increased, and lattice strain reduced with increasing the thickness of the films. the sample surface deposited with less thickness has more homogeneous and smoothness.these films enhance both electrical and thermal conductivity.

3_ the design and implementation of a real time measurement system for EMG signal with high performance based on Myrio card with LabVIEW and get good analysis for EMG signal.this design is very cheaper than the international EMG measurement such tNiraxon Ultium EMG device.

4_ The intensity of EMG signal enhanced after coating the EMG electrodes due to the enhancement of conduction. Especially for silver thin film compare with the other used metals. the recorded signals appear with little noise after signal treatment with low pass and high pass filters.

5_ The EMG simulator has an effective ability to generate EMG signals for specific muscles similar to the real signal as well as the ability of EMGlab to collect the signal and filter the signal with two types of filters.small EMG signals can be amplified to be clear.
