Isolating and diagnosing the bacteria that cause gum infections and knowing the bacteria most present in these infections, in addition to studying the ability of commensal bacteria to form biofilms and studying their ability to resist antibiotics and knowing the effect of bio-manufactured silver particles on reducing the ability of commensal bacteria to form biofilms and antibiotic resistance. The current study also included studying the ability of commensal bacteria to genes expression in the presence of silver nanoparticles at a concentration below the minimum inhibitor.
