((Genotyping of Hepatitis B virus (HBV) and TLR-9 response in chronic HB in Anbar governorate and study of accompanying microbial flora ))

This study aimed to find out the dominant genotype of hepatitis B virus in patients with chronic hepatitis B in the Al-Anbar governorate, with a genetic analysis of the genetic material of the virus gene, and to know the effect of this chronic infection on the immune response, the most important of which is the Toll-like receptor type 9, which belongs to the innate natural immunity. Then, knowing the association of this disease with three single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of the gene responsible for this toll, along with studying the accompanying microbial flora.

The dominant type was determined, which is type D, and the result was confirmed by conducting nucleic acid sequencing. Genetic variations in the S gene of the virus were identified. Thirteen isolates were recorded in the database of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI), with the construction of the phylogenetic tree. Polymorphisms of the Toll 9 gene were identified, which has an effect on chronic infection with this virus infection, and this study did not reveal the presence of any associated microbial flora in these patients.
