The current study aims to identify the histological and immunological changes associated with appendicitis, as well as the detection of polymorphisms of the interleukin-6 gene that affect this disease. Additionally, to assessing the role of some immunological and hematological tests on appendicitis.
The study concluded that genotypes may play an important role in the development and pathogenesis of acute appendicitis.
