The public discussion of a master’s student (Iman Mohammad Ahmed) from the Department of Chemistry - College of Science - University of Anbar was held on Thursday, 3/11/2022 in Jaber bin Hayyan Hall in the College of Science about her thesis tagged: -

‏((Relationships of Omentin with Coenzyme Q10 in myocardial infraction Patients in Ramadi City)).

‏The study aims to evaluate the relationship between  omentin-1 and coenzyme Q10, as well as study the association with some biomarkers in patients with myocardial infarction in Ramadi city

‏The results of the study showed a decrease in the levels of omentin-1 and coenzyme Q10 in patients group compared to the healthy , as well as the study showed an increase in the levels of each of malondialdehyde, high-sensitivity cardiac troponin T and creatine kinase enzyme in patients group, so these variables can be considered as important biomarkers to describe  Myocardial infarction.
