The public discussion of the master’s student (Doaa Jassim Ayed), Department of Chemistry - College of Science - University of Anbar, took place on Sunday, October 30, 2022 in Jaber Bin Hayyan Hall in the College of Science about her thesis tagged: -

Synthesis, characterization, and study of thermal stability of new compounds contaning beta-lactam tetra rings

This study aims to prepare new compounds from beta-lactam derivatives, given that these compounds have high pharmacological activity and were diagnosed spectroscopically.

The results showed the validity of the chemical structures of the proposed compounds, and the biological activity of some of the prepared beta-lactam compounds was evaluated.

  After extensive discussion by the committee members with the student about the subject of her thesis, the thesis was accepted.
