Exploring the Role of Dickkopf-1(DKK-1) and High Mobility Group Box-1 (HMGB-1) and some Biochemical Parameters in Patients with Unstable Angina in Al- Ramadi City-Iraq

The aim of study

·        To investigate the role of dickkopf-1(DKK-1) and high mobility group box-1 (HMGB-1) in patients with unstable angina.

Conclusions

´ Serum levels of DKK-1 and HMGB-1 can be considered as important key features of causation UA in Al- Ramadi city; we can use these variables to predict the incidence of UA and may be in treatment of unstable angina.

´ Serum DKK-1 and HMGB-1 levels were inversely associated with GSH that means DKK-1, HMGB-1 and GSH may play a significant role in UA in this clinical setting. This study has thus shed new light on the complex interplay between inflammation and oxidative stress in unstable angina.
