((Ethics in Scientific Research))
As part of the scientific activities of the College of Science, a scientific workshop was held today, Thursday, May 2, 2024, on ((Ethics of Scientific Research)). The workshop was presented by Assist. Prof.Dr. Mazen Abdel Muhammad, a lecturer in the College of Computer and Information Technology, and was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and a number of Teaching staff and postgraduate students
The workshop addressed important topics about scientific research ethics, including integrity in research, acknowledgment of sources, handling of data, and social responsibility of researchers.
During the workshop, the main ethical issues that researchers need were discussed and strategies for dealing with them were presented, along with an explanation of the most important scientific journals within the global databases and verification of reputable journals.
