Scientific visit
Based on the principle of joint scientific cooperation between Iraqi universities and government institutions, second-year students in the Biology Department / College of Science / Anbar University visited the laboratories of the Seed Inspection and Certification Department in the Anbar branch.

The aim was to identify the Iraqi varieties of wheat and barley, the discriminatory criteria between the varieties, and the goal of multiple varieties for one crop, in addition to the stages of withdrawing samples of local wheat seeds from seed purification laboratories in the governorate, methods of dividing them, and following up on the stages of examining numerical purity, bushiness, and impurities, as well as examining germination and health status, and what are the devices. The materials used and the method of work for each of them, and through this visit, we were informed of the tests that the seeds are subjected to before giving certificates of passing the examination.
