Participation in the third international conference held at the University of Fallujah

Dr. Ibrahim Hakeem Mohammed, a faculty member at the Center for Renewable Energy Research, participated in the third International Conference on Information and Sciences held at the premises of the University of Fallujah. His contribution involved presenting a research paper titled:
"ANOVA Statistical Analysis for Determining the Optimum Content of Waste Powders in Concrete."
The research aims to produce environmentally friendly and sustainable concrete with improved mechanical properties compared to traditional concrete, at lower costs. This is achieved by utilizing waste materials such as glass waste and eggshells as alternative materials to cement at specified proportions. The incorporation of these waste materials not only contributes to the reduction of carbon emissions resulting from cement manufacturing but also aids in minimizing waste accumulation in the environment, offering an alternative to traditional disposal methods such as landfill or unhealthy incineration, along with the associated high costs.
The research represents a collaborative effort between the Center for Renewable Energy Research and the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Anbar.
