The College was established in 2005, it is located at the northern entrance of kirkuk city. It consists of five departments, which are Soil Sci. and Water Resources, Field Crops, Animal Production, Horticulture and Landscape and forest Sci.. The College awards the Bachelor (B.Sc.), Master (M.Sc.) and Doctoral (Ph.D.) degrees in agricultural sciences. The College provide services to the community and state departments through the Agricultural Consultant Bureau, and to its students by many facilities like library, bookshops, sports stadiums, artistic activities, student clubs, restaurant and accommodation. The college issues scientific journal with the name "Kirkuk university Journal of Agricultural Sciences".
