The College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences - Salahaddin University was founded in 1968. The College consists of eight scientific departments which are: Animal Resources, Food Technology, Plant Protection, Soil and Water, Field Crops, Forestry, Horticulture, Fish Resources and Aquatic Animals. The main purpose of the College is to prepare graduates of bachelor, higher diploma, master and doctorate degrees in various disciplines of agricultural sciences. The academic staff is in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture - Kurdistan Regional Government and the agricultural sector in all disciplines and worked to open courses for government cadres and the private agricultural sector and scientific consultations for agricultural projects established by the private agricultural sector through the agricultural advisory office of the College, Central Laboratory.
