Council Of UOA Holds its 7th Session for the Academic Year2017-2108

 At 10 a.m. , Thur.12 April , 2018 , the Council of Anbar University held its 7^th session for the academic year (2017-2018) at the hall of the university presidency ; in which the directors of the following research centers ( Desert Studies Center , Center of Strategic Studies and Center of Upper Euphrates Basin Development ) were hosted .

            At first , the university president welcomed the attendants and wished them all success and he read the instructions of his highness the  minister of Higher  Education & Scientific Research in the 4^th meeting of  Advisory Office held on Tue. 5 April , 2018 after which many instructions were decided including preventing any political party to propagate its election program at the university campus .He also advised to keep universities as  independent installations free of any election propaganda of who so ever party .

In a separate matter , he advised universities to forward their reports about their achievements through the last three years .The council listened to a briefing  by the directors of the research centers about the achievements of their centers and their teams works .

The directors of centers also stated some obstructions and challenges that hinder their mission . In this respect , the university president gave his word to centers' directors who expressed their readiness to  fix all the problems facing them they showed readiness to host reporters and higher studies students of colleges to provide them with research sets .  

The president of the university gave his instructions to the deans of colleges including preparing the exams halls and accommodating  them with air -conditioning units in addition to the generators during the final exams . He attentively listened to the needs offered by the deans   who stated the problems of such nature .

He promised them to fix all obstacles in order to have a suitable examination condition to the students during summer season  . The attendants discussed the matters scheduled on their agenda and came out with many recommendations and decisions among which to recommend  for consultancy bureaus , evening studies in some colleges , and promoting some of the teaching staff to the rank of professor etc.
