The American Ball State Training Course

 University of Anbar took part in the training course which was organized by the University of Ball State, an American university , which addressed the grant presented by the American Dept. of State and supervised by Aspen during 3-7 March in Erbil .

This grant aims at promoting the links between the American and the Middle East students , stressing on cultural exchange .This project aims at making such exchange possible between 1000 American students before 1000 students from Iraq through their cooperation in the fields of engineering , technology and Mathematics across the presumptive reality through the (Canvas ) Stage which is a system of controlling the presumptive education on which delegates of Anbar university had  been trained , giving them certificates of participation and authorizing them to train the rest of the university staff .They are going to be chosen to implement this project at the University of Anbar during scientific units ranging between 3-6 weeks  after that such units are going to be indulged through curricula adopted and taught by the American  Ball State University to support the Iraqi students graduation thesis .An open  workshop, in this respect, has been carried out through this stage as video conference between the professors of the two universities as a part of training on applying and using Canvas Stage .

          As a complementary part of this training course , many meetings were held between the delegation of Anbar university and the other universities in order to present JAESTE System which University of Anbar  joined  as the first Iraqi university in adopting such practice , inviting others to join through University of Anbar (as it is the official representative in Iraq )  .All welcomed the invitation presented and they affirmed to send an official  invitation to University of Anbar in the next days to explain such experience and the objectives of the organization .Mr. president of Saladin University expressed the university desire in concluding  a memorandum of understanding  for the scientific and cultural cooperation with Anbar University .The delegation welcomed such invitation and confirmed to report such idea to Mr. president of Anbar University in order to get his agreement and initiating in concluding the draft memorandum .
