 University of Anbar Council holds it is Tenth session on July 12^th 2017

Coinciding with the celebrations of our Iraqi people on the occasion of the liberation of the city of Mosul from the hold of terrorist ISISs gangs.

The Council of University of Anbar held under the chairmanship of the President of the University Professor Dr. Khalid Battal, the tenth session of the academic year 2016-2017 on July 11^th, 2017, ‘putting on the Iraqi flag in honor of the occasion of great victory’, in the college of Medicine building at the main site of the University's in Ramadi. With the presence of the assistants of the President of the University for administrative and scientific affairs, and the deans of colleges.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the University congratulated the attendees on the occasion of the liberation of the city of Mosul and its return to the homeland. He appreciates the sacrifices of the security forces, without whom the stability would not return and the ‘University would have returned to its original site in Ramadi’. And asking ‘Allah’ of the mercy of the martyrs and the wounded healed.

In meeting a number of issues have been discussed, including; the transfer of the University's current properties from its alternative sites in Baghdad to the original site in Ramadi, the recommendations of the Scientific Secretariat Committee at the university's presidency to ensure scientific journals, as well as scientific promotions and graduate students' issues.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the council congratulate Professor Dr. Mushtaq Taleb Al-Nada, Dean of the college of Pharmacy to assigned as the assistant to the President of the University for Scientific Affairs, and Professor Dr. Tahrir Nazal for his duties as Dean of the college of Dentistry, Professor Mowafaq Asaad Al-Hiti for the duties of Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences and Assistant Professor  Dr. Thakir Mohammed Mohsen to assign him the duties of Dean of the college of Medicine. And “ wishing them success in their work”.

Furthermore, the Council honoured with a letter of thanks and appreciation to a number of deans of the colleges in appreciation of their efforts throughout their work after the completion of the assignment to the deanships of their colleges.

In conclusion, the President of the University thanked the members of the Council for their attendance and the efforts made by them to make the educational process successful in the second semester, asking “Allah” to success and help all in their work.
