A Memorandum of Understanding with the Malaysian University of Technology (UiTM)

In a significant scientific event, Prof. Dr. Mushtak Talib Salih Al-Neda, the President of the University of Anbar, signed a memorandum of understanding with UiTM. At the beginning of the signing ceremony, attended by important official representatives from both sides, the University's president presented a detailed overview about the University, its institutions, strategic plan, local, Arab, and global rankings, its outstanding success in the "Study in Iraq" initiative, its attraction of foreign students and faculty, as well as its solid scientific research indicators in international databases such as Scopus and Clarivates. These factors have made it a focal point of interest for Arab and foreign countries.

Both parties agreed to immediately commence serious work to activate the memorandum of understanding from the very moment of its signing. In his speech, the  president of the University emphasized the importance of scientific and research cooperation, the organization of scientific conferences and joint workshops, and the establishment of effective research teams in common fields. 

 

On the other side, the representatives from  UiTM, including the Vice President for Research and Advanced Studies,  warmly welcomed the visiting delegation, providing an overview of the University's scientific and administrative activities and expressing their keen interest in collaborative work with the University of Anbar due to its esteemed academic and research reputation.

At the end of the ceremony, commemorative gifts were exchanged between the two sides in the presence of Deans of the faculties of Engineering, Computer Science and Information Technology, Islamic Sciences, the Director of the Renewable Energy Research Center, the Director of the Department of International Students Affairs at the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, the Director of the Global Rankings Unit, and their counterparts from UiTM.
