Signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between University of Anbar and the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations

Prof. Mushtaq Taleb al-Neda, President of Anbar University, visited today, Wednesday, the 17th of March, the headquarters of the Reconstruction Fund for Areas Affected by Terrorist Operations, and was received by Dr. Muhammad Hashem Al-Ani, Director of the Fund, and during the meeting, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two sides. Dr. Muhammad Hashem Al-Ani is the most prominent project of the fund in Anbar province, especially the service projects, adding that the fund supports all the capabilities available to Anbar University as it contributes to the graduation of proficient staff, and therefore it serves the Anbar community in particular and Iraq in general. He also confirmed that there is a possibility of introducing new projects in the university and the governorate if the financial allocations are available.

From his side, the President of University of Anbar reviewed the major reconstruction campaign at the university and the progress made in the projects financed by the Reconstruction Fund. It was also agreed on a decision for new and important projects at the university within the 2021 plan, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the good reception, praising the role of the fund in contributing to the reconstruction operations Building in the university and providing the material resources for that, as well as providing services and infrastructure projects that contribute directly to the return of the displaced people to their areas of residence and to achieving stability in the areas affected by terrorist operations.

The President of the University was accompanied on the visit by Prof. Dr.  Atheer Anwar Sharif, Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr.  Ameer Abdel-Rahman, Dean of the College of Engineering and the Head of the Consultant Engineering Bureau at the University.
